CARE GUIDE
Caring for Your Rabanizz Item
Appropriate care depends on the garment, fabric, construction, decoration method, and product variant.
Always follow the care label attached to your garment and any product-specific instructions provided on its product page. Those instructions take priority over the general guidance below.
Thoughtful care can help preserve a garment’s shape, color, surface, and printed or embroidered details.
Before Washing
Check the garment’s care label before every wash, particularly if the item contains a print, embroidery, special finish, or mixed materials.
Separate light and dark colors, close zippers or fasteners where applicable, and empty all pockets.
For decorated garments, turning the item inside out may help reduce friction against the printed or embroidered surface.
Washing
Use the water temperature and wash cycle specified on the garment’s care label.
Wash similar colors together and avoid overloading the washing machine, as excessive friction can affect both the fabric and decoration.
Use an appropriate amount of mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric treatments, or harsh cleaning products unless the garment’s care instructions specifically permit them.
Wash the garment only when needed. Between wears, airing it in a clean, shaded and well-ventilated place may be sufficient.
Drying
Follow the drying method stated on the garment’s care label.
If tumble drying is permitted, use the recommended temperature. Excessive heat may contribute to shrinkage or affect certain fabrics and decorations.
When air drying, reshape the garment gently and place it in a well-ventilated area away from prolonged direct sunlight. Avoid forceful wringing or twisting.
Printed and Decorated Garments
Printed, embroidered, or otherwise decorated areas may require additional care.
Wash decorated garments inside out when permitted by the care label. Avoid abrasive rubbing, scratching, or stretching across the decoration.
Do not place an iron or other direct heat source onto a print, transfer, embroidery, or applied artwork unless the product-specific instructions expressly allow it.
Ironing and Steaming
Follow the temperature shown on the garment’s care label.
When ironing is permitted, use the recommended setting and iron the garment inside out where appropriate. A clean pressing cloth can provide additional protection between the iron and the fabric.
Keep direct heat and steam away from printed or applied decoration unless the product-specific care instructions state otherwise.
Stains
Attend to stains as soon as reasonably possible, but avoid aggressive rubbing, which may spread the stain or disturb the fabric surface.
Before using any stain-removal product, check the garment label and test the product on a small, inconspicuous area.
For difficult stains or unfamiliar materials, consider consulting a professional cleaner and provide them with the garment’s care information.
Storage
Store garments only when they are clean and completely dry.
Keep them in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from prolonged direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive heat.
Fold heavier garments when hanging could affect their shape. Lighter garments may be folded or hung on an appropriately shaped hanger, depending on their construction.
Natural Changes Over Time
Normal wear, washing, friction, and exposure to light can gradually affect a garment’s color, texture, shape, and decoration.
Natural fibers may also respond to washing and heat differently between products. Following the product-specific care instructions can help reduce avoidable changes.
