Canopy Layer Organic Hoodie — Black

A structured interpretation of forest systems expressed through depth and balance.

Canopy Layer explores the relationship between sunlight, canopy distribution, and subsurface root networks through a precise geometric composition, reflecting how energy moves through layered ecosystems.

Expressed through a structured organic cotton hoodie designed for everyday wear.
Made from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton with a brushed interior, the fabric offers warmth, durability, and a refined regular silhouette.

About the garment

A considered essential designed with clarity, structure, and restraint.

Made from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton, the 350 g/m² fabric provides warmth, durability, and a substantial feel while maintaining breathability. The compact knit construction creates a clean surface and a structured everyday layer suited for year-round wear.

The cotton used in this garment is certified under GOTS and OCS standards at the fabric level.

Designed with intention, the garment prioritizes durability, comfort, and long-term use.

Design & concept

Canopy Layer explores the structured organization of forest ecosystems.

A central vertical axis defines the relationship between energy input, surface boundary, and subsurface connectivity.

A single circle represents sunlight — the initiating force driving the system.
Controlled, evenly spaced arcs expand outward to define the canopy layer as a system of distribution rather than organic randomness.
A horizontal line marks the ground boundary, separating atmospheric processes from what lies beneath.
Below this boundary, restrained curved lines suggest root networks and hidden ecological connections.

Reduced to essential geometry, the composition translates the forest into a layered environmental system — expressing balance, flow, and structure through precision and restraint.

Placed centrally on the chest in soft stone grey, the symbol maintains a quiet presence while reflecting the vertical organization of natural systems.
