Perception Radius Organic Cotton Hoodie — Black
A minimal study of spatial awareness and environmental sensing observed across rare and endangered species.
Perception Radius explores how organisms detect and interpret surrounding space through distributed sensory signals, reflecting attention, range, and adaptive awareness beyond immediate visibility.
Expressed through a structured heavyweight hoodie designed for everyday wear.
Made from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton (350 g/m²), the garment offers warmth, durability, and a substantial, refined silhouette.
The ash grey artwork appears quietly across the upper back against the black base.

About the garment
A considered essential designed with clarity, structure, and restraint.
Constructed from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton, the substantial 350 g/m² fabric provides warmth, durability, and a structured feel while maintaining breathability. The compact knit construction creates a clean outer surface, while the brushed interior adds softness and everyday comfort.
Designed for longevity, the garment balances function, comfort, and a refined visual presence.
Design & concept
Perception Radius reflects a survival system observed across multiple rare and endangered species — the ability to detect, interpret, and respond to surrounding space before direct interaction occurs.
Many organisms depend on sensory information that extends beyond immediate sight. Species such as bats, owls, elephants, sharks, and numerous marine animals continuously gather environmental signals through sound, vibration, pressure changes, electromagnetic fields, and spatial awareness.
The artwork translates this sensing behaviour into a minimal field of distributed directional elements.
Rather than forming a complete shape, the composition operates as an open awareness system:
• Signals appear across a shared spatial field
• Density shifts suggest changing attention zones
• Isolated elements imply distant environmental information
• Directional variation reflects adaptive sensing rather than fixed focus
The composition avoids a defined centre, allowing awareness to emerge through the relationships between individual signals rather than from a single source.
Areas of concentration and dispersion create a perception field that feels active yet unresolved — continuously gathering information from the surrounding environment.
Placed across the upper back, the artwork maintains a quiet visual presence. The front remains intentionally unmarked, allowing the sensory field to reveal itself through movement and changing viewpoints.

PERCEPTION RADIUS
Spatial Awareness — Sensory Detection System
A minimal system exploring how organisms perceive space beyond direct visibility.
Across many species, survival depends not only on movement or concealment, but also on the ability to detect environmental information before action occurs. Sound, vibration, pressure, spatial memory, and environmental cues contribute to a continuously evolving perception field.
This artwork translates that principle into a distributed system of directional signals.
No single element defines the composition.
Signals emerge across space.
Density suggests attention.
Distance implies sensory range.
Variation reflects interpretation.
The artwork represents perception as an active field rather than a fixed viewpoint.
An observation of awareness through sensing — adaptive, responsive, and deeply embedded in natural intelligence.
